Getting There

• Underground (Tube)

  To reach The Shard, find your way to London Bridge Station. If you're coming from central London, take the Northern Line (black line) towards Morden or the Jubilee Line (grey line) towards Stratford. Once you arrive at London Bridge Station, follow the signs for the exit to 'Borough High Street' and 'London Bridge.' After exiting the station, turn left and walk along Tooley Street. The Shard is located at 32 London Bridge St, just a short 5-minute walk from the station.

• Bus

  If you prefer taking the bus, you can catch several bus routes that stop near The Shard. Routes 43, 141, and 388 all have stops close to London Bridge. Plan your bus journey using the Transport for London (TfL) website or app to find the nearest bus stop. Once you get off at the 'London Bridge' stop, The Shard is just a few minutes' walk away. Head towards London Bridge Station, and follow the same directions as the Underground route from there.

• Walking

  If you're already near London Bridge or in the Borough area, you can simply walk to The Shard. It is located at 32 London Bridge St, SE1 9SG. Look for the iconic tall building which is hard to miss! From Borough Market, head towards the London Bridge area, and follow the signs leading you towards the Shard. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk from Borough Market.

• Riverboat

  For a scenic route, consider taking a riverboat along the Thames. You can board a Thames Clippers boat from various piers, such as Westminster or Greenwich. Get off at the London Bridge City Pier, which is only a short walk from The Shard. Once you disembark, head towards the Shard following the signs, and you’ll arrive in approximately 5 minutes.
